Women we love
In the Faroe Islands, knitting is part of the fabric of daily life, a tradition passed through generations and shared among families and friends. This heritage isn’t just about making garments; it embodies community, resilience, and the quiet determination that characterises our home. When we started Guðrun & Guðrun, we weren’t simply focused on our materials and patterns, but also who was doing the knitting. We take immense pride in supporting and celebrating the remarkable women who keep this craft alive. Today, we highlight two extraordinary knitters, Ingun and Thora, whose dedication and passion continue to inspire us.
